Time: 2pm-3.30 ish arrive ready for action in case changing room not ready!
event: a session for all U18's not involved in county teams to play a match, warm up with senior women beforehand.
no poaching please, this event is to grow rugby in lots of clubs, not just 1 or 2 clubs.
seniors please come and meet potential senior players!
Please let myself and Lizzie who will be refereeing, know how many girls you are bringing by Thursday 3rd please. A couple of coaches to help run the warm up, run touch etc would be welcome!
Aims of the session:
- to play rugby at U18 level ( many clubs do not have enough for a whole team)
- to help grow clubs U18 section by keeping girls interested and playing.
- to meet senior women and see that they are friendly!
- To hopefully help girls stay in rugby at senior level.
- stay and watch some of the county U18 and U15 matches.
- girls play rugby 15 a side and have FUN!
- more clubs helpd to grow an U18 side, as girls remain interested.
other sessions will take place on divisional rugby dates
lets make these next sessions also for U15's not in county teams and U13's, as no club has a whole side of U13's yet. Lets keep girls interested and in the game and in their own clubs.
